Warrior meets Nurturer = Yin Yang!

and presented by iLLuMiNa Healing Arts
For girls of all ages: mothers and daughters, aunts, grandmas and mentors.
Explore the dance between your fierce inner Warrior and your generous Nurturer ! Build your confidence and connection with friendly females while moving to Nia, a fabulous form of dance and exploration. We'll play with a mix of games, meditation, journaling and sharing our stories. No worries, you won't need any special skills, only the desire to play and enjoy deep learning through the body, mind and spirit.
Dates and time: Saturday January 22nd, 10 am – 4:30
Location: the luminous chapel and grounds of the Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Ave NE, Seattle
Cost: $35 first girl, and $30 for each additional family member
Trades may be considered if a participant can offer services that are more valuable to us than direct payment.
Facilitators: Kara McKay, dance + movement instructor extraordinaire, and Margot Richardson, artist + healer
Ingredients: Wear comfortable clothes, and please bring a sack lunch and a small item to
re-gift to one of the girls you'll meet in our Playshop
